Merck Gruppe - MSD Sharp & Dohme is seeking a Senior Specialist, Business Insights & Analytics to partner across commercial, marketing, and omnichannel decision-making. The role translates complex data into actionable insights shaping brand strategy, customer engagement, and business performance.

You will act as a data translator, collaborate with analytics, data science, market research, and IT teams, and contribute to a data-driven culture while aligning with global analytics frameworks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in analytics or data analysis (regulated industry preferred).
• Commercial, marketing, or sales support experience; pharma/healthcare a plus.
• Advanced skills with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI; Python/R knowledge is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies, including responsible use within a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and historical performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across brands, campaigns, customers, and channels.
• Provide fact-based recommendations to support marketing strategy, sales execution, forecasting, and omnichannel effectiveness.
• Translate complex analytics into clear narratives tailored to senior and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decision making.
• Contribute to dashboard design and standard reports tracking KPIs related to brand performance and customer engagement.
