Job summary

BitHealth is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead design and development of enterprise-level AI solutions. You will drive AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives, design scalable architectures, and provide technical direction to AI/engineering teams.

You will collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions, integrate AI with existing systems, and uphold best practices in code quality, testing, monitoring, and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong software engineering foundation with hands-on experience building production-level systems.
• Strong experience in AI/ML, preferably including Generative AI, LLM, and RAG.
• Experience designing or building enterprise-level solutions in complex environments.
• Experience can come from either a technology consulting/system integrator background or an internal engineering/product team within an enterprise.
• Good understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI integration.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus.
