Job summary

PT. Alcotraindo Batam is recruiting a Senior Accountant to lead financial accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will manage journal entries, full-set bookkeeping, and month-end close, while supporting audits and consolidation for group reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in accounting, a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and ERP experience (SAP/Navision). Manufacturing background and Brevet Tax A/B are pluses; strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Background in manufacturing preferred.
• Brevet Tax A & B certification preferred.
• Taxation skills including GST and withholding tax.
• ERP experience (SAP, Navision) advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Fluent English communication; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance schedule reports.
• Compute monthly withholding tax and reconciliation reports.
• Close outstanding balance sheet issues and prepare journal entries.
• Record accruals, amortization, prepayments, and other accruals.
• Review open PO/GRN and ship-not-invoiced reports with SCM/Planner teams.
• Handle month-end closing and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Support audits and provide documentation to auditors.
• Prepare financial statements for overseas and local entities.
• Perform fixed asset verification and stock counts.
• Prepare consolidated reports for group-level analysis.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation.
