Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the accounting and financial reporting functions at our Bintan, Riau Islands office. You will oversee month-end and year-end reporting, manage tax processes, and provide insights to management.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, and proficiency with IFCA or ERP systems. CPA/ABI is a plus, on-site work.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Bintan, Riau Islands. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing our company's accounting and financial reporting functions. This position requires in-depth expertise in accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, the accuracy of reports, and compliance with applicable regulations. This position is offered on an on-site basis, allowing you to work directly with our finance team and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting processes, including transaction recording, account reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Review and audit accounting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Manage tax processes, including tax calculations, preparation of tax returns (SPT), and communication with tax authorities.
• Perform financial analysis and provide business insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage a junior accounting team, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure high performance standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in accounting processes and implement more efficient systems or procedures.
• Perform financial consolidation and variance analysis to support management reporting.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory position.
• In-depth understanding of Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
• Experience in using modern accounting software such as IFCA or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid leadership skills to direct and develop an accounting team.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Indonesian Certified Accountant (ABI) is a significant plus.
• Experience handling external and internal audits, as well as the yearly book-closing process.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
