Job summary

Samara Liveaboard in Denpasar, Bali is seeking a Senior Accountant who reports directly to the Finance Director. You will manage timely financial closing, tax reporting, and compliance across Indonesian regulations, with strong emphasis on accuracy and control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as Senior Accountant.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of PSAK, IFRS, LKPM, BPJS.
• Expert in Xero ERP and Payroll.
• Willing to travel to operation site.

Responsibilities

• Finalize financial reports on time and accurately by each month end.
• Analyze payment vouchers for withholding tax applicability.
• Review general ledger for incorrect entries and ensure timely accruals.
• Prepare and file comprehensive tax reports with Tax Authority via Coretax.
• Reconcile general ledger, bank, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Support Finance Director in planning/controlling annual budget.

We are looking for candidate for Senior Accountant role who will report directly to the Finance Director

Placement: DENPASAR, BALI

Job Description

• Finalized the financial report on time and accurately at 5 days of the month.
• Analize the payment voucher whether the withholding tax will be applied or not.
• Analize general ledger and ensure that there is no wrong entries, unexpected numbers, and that accruals are recorded on time and traceable.
• Prepare, reconcile and present comprehensive tax reports, ensuring accurate, timely, and relevant tax information is provided to management and submit it to the Tax Authority through Coretax.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Support Finance Director in preparing/controlling annual budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Senior Accountant
• Good understanding of Indonesian Taxation, Own tax brevet B/C is preferable
• Good understanding of Indonesian Accounting Standard (PSAK), IFRS, LKPM Reporting and BPJS.
• Expert in Xero ERP and Payroll Application.
• Good leadership, accurate, detail and open minded.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, marine, or liveaboard industry would be a plus.
• Ready to travel to operation site when required.
