Job summary

Chakana Seminyak in Bali is seeking a professional, alert, and confident Security Guard to join the opening team of our new premium rum bar. You will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and staff during operating hours.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Security Certification (Gada Pratama or equivalent), is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and has hospitality security experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Security Certification (Gada Pratama or equivalent).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Hospitality security experience preferred.
• Evening/night shifts, weekends, and public holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guests and venue during operating hours to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Handle intoxicated or disruptive guests calmly and professionally.
• Prevent and manage conflicts, disturbances, or aggressive behavior within the venue.
• Assist the team in controlling guest entry and exit when necessary.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
• Monitor the venue for potential safety or security risks and report concerns to management.
• Coordinate closely with management and service team when handling difficult guest situations.
• Ensure guests and staff can enjoy and work in a safe and comfortable environment.

We're looking for a professional, alert, and confident Security Guard to join the opening team of our new premium rum bar in Seminyak.

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our guests and team during operating hours, while handling security concerns calmly and professionally.

What you'll be doing

Monitor guests and the venue during operating hours to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Handle situations involving intoxicated or disruptive guests calmly and professionally.

Prevent and manage conflicts, disturbances, or aggressive behavior within the venue.

Assist the team in controlling guest entry and exit when necessary.

Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.

Monitor the venue for potential safety or security risks and report concerns to management.

Coordinate closely with the management and service team when handling difficult guest situations.

Ensure guests and staff can enjoy and work in a safe and comfortable environment.

What we're looking for

Valid Security Certification (Gada Pratama or equivalent) is required.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Previous experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a bar, nightclub, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.

Experience handling intoxicated, difficult, or disruptive guests is highly preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Calm, confident, and able to de-escalate difficult situations professionally.

Alert, responsible, trustworthy, and able to perform security duties effectively.

Able to work evening/night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
