The Role of the Security Guard III

The Security Guard III plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, employees, and property. Their primary responsibility is to deliver optimal protection by enforcing rules and regulations, as well as deterring criminal activities and addressing any emerging issues. These dedicated professionals are vigilant in maintaining a secure environment, demonstrating a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Functions

• Patrol and inspect property to protect against theft fire, vandalism, terrorism and other illegal activity.
• Posting at stationary positions throughout the property to provide access control.
• Posting at checkpoints to carry out employee bag checks and monitor employees swiping time clock.
• Control access of independent contractors and vendors by ensuring that they log in and display proper ID before entering property.
• Control access of vehicles seeking to enter property and inspect vehicles leaving.
• Monitor public areas and guests floors to identify and remove undesirable persons and trespassers.
• Provide escorts for employees and patrons including escorts of cash and other valuables.
• Provide security for special events and VIP services.
• Provide exceptional customer service when assisting guests, patrons and employees.
• Complete incident reports on all incidents and attend court or other hearing or tribunals to testify.
• Assist the Supervisor with coaching of Security Guards.
• Assist the Supervisor with the briefing and assigning of Security Guards to their posts.
• Temporarily perform the duties of Supervisor when required.
