Job summary

Southworth is seeking a Room Attendant for The Abaco Club to maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and suites. You will follow high standards of comfort and hygiene, restock amenities, and coordinate with the team to ensure an exceptional member and guest experience.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and physical stamina to lift up to 30 lbs and perform shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reset guest rooms and suites, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and replenishing amenities.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Replace used towels and linens with fresh, clean items.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure guest rooms are stocked with proper supplies, such as toiletries, water, and club literature.
• Handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including carpet cleaning and high-dusting.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of chemicals.
• Restock housekeeping carts and closets at the end of each shift.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

The Opportunity:
