Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Science teaching experience.
• Experience in curriculum coordination or mentoring teachers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership for the Science Department with reduced teaching load.
• Mentor and coach Science teachers in planning and assessment.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure academic quality.
• Collaborate with school leadership to set departmental goals and improvement initiatives.
• Analyze student data to identify areas for improvement and plan interventions.
• Coordinate departmental meetings and professional learning.
• Develop innovative Science programmes and laboratory experiences.
• Maintain active teaching with reduced load while modelling best practices.
