Job summary

Sekolah IPEKA (Jakarta Barat) seeks an experienced academic leader for the Science Department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all Science subjects.

You will mentor Science teachers, oversee curriculum implementation, analyze student data, and coordinate professional learning while maintaining an active teaching role with reduced load to model best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field.
• At least 2 years of Science teaching experience.
• Experience in curriculum coordination, subject leadership, or mentoring teachers is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, and effective Science pedagogy.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• An excellent command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of innovative Science programmes and engaging laboratory learning experiences.
• Maintain an active teaching role with a reduced teaching load while modelling effective classroom practices.
• Foster a collaborative culture that promotes professional growth, innovation, and student success.
