Job summary

IPEKA Christian School in Balikpapan is seeking a dedicated physics teacher to develop and deliver engaging lessons, learning materials, assignments, and assessments.

The role requires a Bachelor\'s in Physics or related field, at least two years of teaching experience, strong classroom management and communication skills, and willingness to be based in Balikpapan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Fluent English is an advantage
• Willingness to be placed in Balikpapan

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging physics lessons, including learning materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Create a safe, supportive, and productive classroom environment.
• Encourage interactive learning and provide personalized guidance to meet students’ learning needs.
• Plan and implement educational activities and learning experiences.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document students’ academic progress.
• Prepare and distribute student progress reports and semester report cards.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with parents to support student development.
