Job summary

PT Gunung Raja Paksi, Tbk in Indonesia is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs and interfaces while providing functional support.

You will collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements, perform code reviews, optimize ABAP performance, and develop technical documentation to ensure reliable system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP ERP development with strong ABAP programming experience.
• Proficiency in ABAP OO, Web Dynpro, Reports, User Exits and BAdIs.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO and web services/APIs.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, debugging, and technical documentation.

This role encompasses both SAP ABAP development and SAP functional support responsibilities. You will design, develop, test, and maintain custom SAP programs and interfaces, while also providing user support and analyzing business requirements to drive system improvements and optimization.

Create, enhance, and maintain SAP reports to support business reporting requirements

Develop and maintain ABAP programs across various SAP modules and functionalities

Collaborate with functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvement and optimization

Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP systems and applications

Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs to ensure efficient system performance

Develop and maintain technical documentation related to ABAP development and system changes

Provide user support and assist in resolving functional issues

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP ERP development with strong ABAP programming experience

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in ABAP programming, including:

Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP),

ABAP Web Dynpro,

ABAP Reports,

User Exits,

BAdIs (Business Add-Ins),

SAPscript / Smart Forms.

Good understanding and hands-on experience with web services, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), and SAP integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration)

Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively

Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, test scripts, and user manuals

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills
