Job summary

HAND Global Solutions in Jakarta seeks an experienced SAP Technical Consultant to design and implement robust SAP solutions for enterprise-scale processes. You will review functional specs, provide accurate technical estimations, and develop custom ABAP applications using ABAP Objects, RAP/CDS, and related SAP technologies.

You will also perform unit testing and debug complex interfaces, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Technical Consultant.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Strong proficiency in core ABAP programming (RICEFW) including Reports, RFCs, IDocs, BAPIs, Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs), Dialog Programming, and Forms (Smart Forms / Adobe Forms).
• At least 1 to 2 full-lifecycle implementation experiences.
• Knowledge across SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, or EWM.
• Exposure to SAP RAP (CDS Views / OData) and S/4HANA environments.

Provide accurate technical estimations and collaborate on solution designs to optimize business processes

Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP Objects and modern SAP RAP / CDS technologies

Perform initial unit testing and technical verification of developed components before passing them to functional or end-user testing

Conduct code debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for complex custom programs and interfaces

Prepare comprehensive technical specification documentation based on functional requirements

Share knowledge by documenting technical solutions, troubleshooting tips, and best practices for the team

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience as an SAP Technical Consultant

Proficient in English (verbal and written) is a must for effective team and stakeholder communication

Strong proficiency in core ABAP programming (RICEFW), including Reports, RFCs, IDocs, BAPIs, Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs), Dialog Programming, and Forms (Smart Forms / Adobe Forms)

At least 1 to 2 full‑lifecycle implementation experiences

Solid working knowledge across core SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, or EWM

Exposure to modern development paradigms, including SAP RAP (Core Data Services / CDS Views, OData Services), basic Fiori/UI5 understanding, and S/4HANA environments

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills to independently troubleshoot and mitigate technical risks

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team environment
