Job summary

PT Peoplyee Tech Indonesia is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support and extend SAP across SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, and QM in an S/4HANA environment. The role focuses on ABAP development, SAP interfaces, and Fiori-based modernization.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in SAP project implementation and is skilled in ABAP, Fiori, and CDS views, with strong English communication. A structured development process and comprehensive documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• English communication is a must.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP project implementation and support, focusing on SAP Interface and ABAP development in S/4HANA environments across SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, and QM.
• Skilled in Fiori application development, CDS Views, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures for modern SAP extensibility.
• Skilled in ABAP programming incl. Standard Reports, ALV, OO Programming, Dialog Programming, SAPscript, SmartForms, Web Dynpro, and enhancement techniques such as Customer Exits, Modifications, BADIs, BTEs, and Enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and document all system development and system interface activities, issues to ensure timely resolution and traceability.
• Develop and implement custom objects in the SAP system across SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, and QM modules.
• Establish programming standards, best practices, and development procedures with proper documentation and version control.
• Perform interface design, solution development, unit testing, and monitoring for SAP and external system integration.
• Optimize program performance through analysis, tuning, and enhancement of existing developments.
• Ensure code quality and compliance via structured code reviews.
• Conduct unit testing on development objects, including risk and impact assessments for functional accuracy and stability.
• Provide support during integration and regression testing to ensure smooth deployment.
• Prepare and deliver necessary technical documentation with completeness and clarity.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor all development activities to meet timelines.

This role involves supporting, monitoring, and documenting system development and system interface activities to ensure timely resolution and traceability. You will develop and implement custom objects in the SAP system based on business requirements across Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Financial Accounting and Controlling, Production Planning, and Quality Management modules.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

English communicative is a must

Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project implementation and support, specializing in SAP Interface and ABAP development in S4HANA environments across Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Financial Accounting and Controlling, Production Planning, and Quality Management modules

Skilled in Fiori application development, Core Data Services Views, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures for modern SAP extensibility

Skilled in ABAP programming, including Standard Reports, ALV, Object-Oriented Programming, Dialog Programming, SAPscript, SmartForms, Web Dynpro, and enhancement techniques such as Customer Exits, Modifications, BADIs, BTEs, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements
