Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group (Tbk) is seeking an Environmental Health professional to ensure public and employee health, safety, and hygiene across hospital facilities. The role involves enforcing regulations, educating staff and the community, and developing protocols for sanitation and waste management.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology or related field, and ideally five years of experience in environmental health, hygiene or industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, or related major.
• Preferably 5 years of experience in environmental health, hygiene or industrial safety.
• In-depth understanding of sanitation practices, infection control, and health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with healthcare management software and EHR systems; proficiency in Excel and Word for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Sanitarians investigate health and safety in business environments and enforce safety regulations.
• Observe employee behavior to prevent disease spread at the facility.
• Educate the public and individuals on contamination reduction methods.
• Develop protocols to maintain public and industrial hygiene standards.
• Enforce existing health regulations in community practice.
• Monitor waste disposal and handling in hospitals, businesses and public sectors.
