Job summary

Eurofragance SLU is seeking a lab technician in Jakarta to support fragrance development. You will work in the lab, dose raw materials with high accuracy, and ensure traceability of every batch while updating movements in PINS or SAP.

Requires a D3 in Chemistry or related field with 2–3 years in fragrance, strong Excel skills, and good English communication. Indonesian location supports an international team in a growing ambient lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Chemistry or related field.
• 2–3 years of fragrance industry experience.
• Olfactory skills/knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT); SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Work in the laboratory, prepare trials as requested by perfumers, customer service and evaluators.
• Dose all raw materials in formulations with high accuracy.
• Use tablet and barcode reader to update raw material consumption and ensure batch traceability.
• Update raw material movements in IT systems using PINS or SAP.
• Maintain raw material inventory and keep 5S in the lab.

What's your mission?

Follow safe working procedure and complete assigned tasks with correct records and meet required processes which include raw material pouring & mixing and operate weighing, mixing, filtration, automated dosing machine and other associated equipment in the sample lab area.

Here's what you'll be rocking every day

• Work in the laboratory, compounding the trials as requested by our Perfumers, Customer Service and Evaluators.
• Dose all the raw materials contained in the formula with high accuracy.
• Use tablet and the barcode reader to update all the raw material consumption and ensure traceability of every batch.
• Update every raw material movement in our IT systems, using PINS (internal software) or SAP depending on the movement type.
• Maintaining raw material inventory as well as maintaining 5s in the compounding lab

What you need to shine in this role

• Minimum Diploma (D3) graduate in Chemistry or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a similar position within Fragrance Industry
• Olfactory skills / knowledge would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT); Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in dosing and weighing on a small scale
• Effective communication skills in English.
