Job summary

EF Education First (EF Language Abroad) is seeking a results-driven Associate to drive student enrolment and deliver exceptional customer service across Jakarta. You will engage with prospective students, parents, and referral partners, conducting calls, meetings, and presentations to match the right study abroad program.

The role requires outbound telesales, timely responses, and strong relationship management.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Based in Jakarta or willing to relocate to Jakarta.
• Passionate about travel, languages, and international education.

Responsibilities

• Drive student enrolment by achieving sales and admissions targets through consultative selling and exceptional customer service.
• Connect with prospective students, parents, and referral partners through calls, meetings, and presentations to help them find the right study abroad program.
• Telesales is a key part of this role—you'll confidently make outbound calls, build relationships, and convert leads into enrolments.
• Respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, providing timely, professional, and personalized support.
• Meet daily performance KPIs, including outbound calls, appointments, consultations, and enrolments.
• Work closely with the Country Program Manager to execute the sales plan and achieve team goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the student journey—from first enquiry to departure—including support with flights, accommodation, visas, enrolment documents, tuition payments, and other administrative processes.
• Organize and represent EF at events such as information seminars, education fairs, school visits, university presentations, student gatherings, and alumni events to generate leads and strengthen our community.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, schools, universities, and referral partners.
• Travel within and outside the Jakarta area to visit partner branches and support recruitment activities.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and off-site events when required.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the team.

Requirements

• Based in Jakarta or willing to relocate to Jakarta.

• Previous experience in the education, study abroad, or international education industry is preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, and persuasion skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and handle challenging situations effectively.
• Passionate about travel, languages, cultural exchange, and international education.
• Personal experience living, studying, or traveling abroad is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
