Job summary

Samudera Indonesia Tbk in Medan is seeking a proactive Human Capital staff to join our HR team. You will help manage salary and benefits, lead recruitment, and oversee performance appraisals to ensure fair evaluations.

You will also support the Integrated Management System, risk controls, and information security measures aligned with company policy, while collaborating with other departments to drive efficient HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any major, preferably Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
• Prior internship or work experience in Human Capital, General Affairs, or a related field is preferred.
• Good understanding of Human Capital administration and recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with the shipping agency industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee salary and benefits processes with accurate calculations according to company regulations.
• Carry out the recruitment and selection process for required positions by the Company.
• Oversee the performance appraisal process, manage performance improvement plans, and ensure that performance evaluations are conducted consistently and fairly.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
