Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a proactive SHE Specialist to lead Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance at our Cilegon, Banten site. You will drive a zero-accident culture and ensure operations meet Indonesian regulations and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Min. 3-5 years experience in SHE in manufacturing/industrial/chemical/plant environment.
• Certified AK3 Umum (Kemnaker) is a must. Hiperkes/Industrial Hygiene and Auditor SMK3 is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian SHE regulations, PROPER, and AMDAL/UKL-UPL reporting.
• Able to conduct MCU follow-up, industrial hygiene measurement, and environmental sampling.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a multicultural environment (Indonesia - Korea).
• Willing to be based in Cilegon, Banten under PKWT 1 Year Contract.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor SHE programs, policies, and SOPs.
• Conduct HIRADC, JSA, safety inspections, and internal audits.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; report root causes.
• Lead toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and training for employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with SMK3 and permit to work system.
• Manage emergency preparedness, drills, and evacuation plans.
• Develop and implement Occupational Health programs including HRA and IH monitoring.
• Coordinate MCU (pre-employment, periodic, and special) and follow up results.
• Manage fitness-to-work assessments and return-to-work for sick/injured employees.
• Monitor workplace health hazards and control measures.
• Oversee first aid facilities and emergency medical response.
• Conduct health promotion and disease prevention programs.
• Record and analyze health data and report to management.
• Liaise with clinics, BPJS Kesehatan, and local health authorities.
• Ensure PPE availability and proper use based on risk.
• Investigate occupational diseases and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with AMDAL/UKL-UPL, PROPER, IPAL, emissions, B3 waste.
• Monitor wastewater, emissions, and ambient air quality.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste (B3 & non-B3).
• Conduct environmental monitoring and reports for DLH/KLHK via SIMPEL.
• Implement waste reduction, 5R, energy and water efficiency, and GHG inventory.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and audits.
• Handle environmental incident/spill response and remediation.
• Coordinate environmental training and sustainability activities.
• Manage environmental documentation and permits.
• Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced SHE Specialist to lead Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental compliance at our site in Cilegon, Banten. You will play a key role in building a zero-accident culture and ensuring sustainable operations in line with Indonesian regulations and international standards.

A. Safety

• Implement and monitor SHE programs, policies, and SOPs
• Conduct HIRADC, JSA, safety inspections, and internal audits
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, prepare reports with root cause analysis & corrective actions
• Lead toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and SHE training for employees & contractors

• Manage emergency preparedness, fire drills, and evacuation plans

B. Health (Occupational Health)

• Develop and implement Occupational Health programs including health risk assessment (HRA) and industrial hygiene monitoring (noise, dust, chemical exposure, heat stress, lighting, vibration)
• Coordinate Medical Check-Up (MCU) - pre-employment, periodic, and special MCU - and follow up on results
• Manage fitness-to-work assessment and return-to-work program for sick / injured employees
• Monitor and control workplace health hazards: chemical exposure, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, and fatigue management
• Manage first aid facilities/P3K, first aider team, and emergency medical response
• Conduct health promotion programs: healthy lifestyle, nutrition, health awareness, smoking cessation, and disease prevention
• Record and analyze occupational illness / disease data, absenteeism due to health issues, and report to management
• Liaise with clinic/hospital, BPJS Kesehatan, and local health authorities
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE based on health risk assessment
• Investigate occupational diseases and recommend preventive measures
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian environmental regulations: AMDAL/UKL-UPL, PROPER, and local permits (IPAL, emissions, B3 waste)
• Monitor and manage wastewater treatment (WWTP/IPAL), air emissions, and ambient air quality
• Manage hazardous & non-hazardous waste (B3 & non-B3): identification, storage, labeling, manifest, transportation, and disposal with licensed vendors
• Conduct environmental monitoring: water, air, noise, soil, and waste, and prepare reports for DLH/KLHK via SIMPEL
• Implement waste reduction, 5R program, energy & water efficiency, and GHG emission inventory
• Conduct environmental risk assessments, aspects-impacts register, and environmental audits
• Handle environmental incident/spill response, investigation, and remediation
• Coordinate environmental training, green awareness campaigns, and sustainability activities
• Manage environmental documentation: environmental permits, monitoring reports, and compliance
• Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement projects
