Job summary

NTT DATA in Jakarta is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and test RPG-based applications in an AS/400/iSeries environment. You will analyze business requirements, implement enhancements, troubleshoot, and support production systems following SDLC.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering and 3–5 years of AS400/iSeries RPG development, with strong SQL RPGLE and CLLE skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an RPG iSeries (AS/400) Developer.
• Strong knowledge of RPGLE, SQL RPGLE, CLLE, PF, DSPF, PRTF, FTP, and IBM iSeries/AS400 technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and develop solutions within the AS400/iSeries environment.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain RPG-based applications and programs.
• Perform application enhancement, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Develop and optimize database queries based on business and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, QA, and technical teams during development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Perform system and application support to ensure stability, performance, and business continuity.
