Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of RPG iSeries (AS/400) development experience.
• Strong knowledge of RPGLE, SQL RPGLE, CLLE, PF, DSPF, PRTF, FTP, IBM iSeries/AS400.
• Experience in application development, maintenance, and production support.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with SDLC and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and develop solutions in AS/400/iSeries.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain RPG-based applications and programs.
• Perform enhancements, bug fixes, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Develop and optimize database queries based on needs.
• Collaborate with business users, QA, and technical teams during development and deployment.
• Provide system and application support to ensure stability and performance.
• Adhere to SDLC processes and development standards.
