The successful candidate will have at least 1 year in a similar role in Bali, strong housekeeping and front office leadership, superb communication, and solid financial acumen to manage budgets and labor costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a Room Division Manager in luxury Bali hotel or resort.
• Strong background in Housekeeping is highly preferred.
• Experience leading Front Office, Guest Services and related rooms operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; fluent in English.
• Solid financial acumen including budgeting and labor cost control.

Our client is an independent 5-star luxury boutique resort located in the heart of Seminyak. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Room Division Manager to lead all rooms operations, elevate the guest experience, and ensure the highest standards of operational excellence across the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Room Division Manager in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort in Bali.
• Proven background in Housekeeping is highly preferred (including previous experience as Executive Housekeeper or similar leadership role).
• Candidates with a strong Front Office or Guest Experience leadership background are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, and overall Rooms Division operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple departments and large operational teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor cost management, forecasting, and departmental performance analysis.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and related departments.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional and personalized guest experiences throughout the entire guest journey.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational standards, policies, and procedures in line with luxury hospitality expectations.
• Drive departmental performance by monitoring service quality, guest feedback, operational efficiency, and financial results.
• Collaborate closely with department heads to ensure seamless interdepartmental communication and service delivery.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop department managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, productivity, and expenses while maintaining service excellence.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, and employee engagement within the Rooms Division.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and brand operating standards.
• Analyze guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and operational reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Handle VIP arrivals, guest concerns, and service recovery with professionalism and discretion.
• Support the General Manager in achieving operational objectives, revenue goals, and overall business performance.
