Job summary

BYD Indonesia is seeking a Risk Strategy Analyst to lead risk management initiatives and optimize credit risk controls. The role requires 2+ years in risk strategy or related fields, with English fluency and Mandarin a plus.

You will analyze risk data, develop dashboards, and collaborate with product and tech teams to refine policies and automation, supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Economics, Finance or Statistics.
• Major in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• Familiar with local credit reporting regulations and data from major credit bureaus (e.g., CIC, SLIK).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in risk strategy, credit risk management, underwriting, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement and development of the enterprise-wide risk management system and design risk control policies and procedures.
• Monitor risk policies for effectiveness and issue risk warnings for high-risk customers.
• Perform in-depth analysis of risk data and issue early warnings via dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance risk controls and system functionality.
• Review and adjust risk strategies and approval policies regularly.
• Drive optimization of automated approval strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare internal reports and dashboards to support decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the improvement and development of the enterprise-wide risk management system; analyze and design risk control strategies, policies, and operational procedures.
• Monitor and track risk policies to ensure their effectiveness; conduct regular risk warnings and strategy-based controls for high-risk customers; analyze abnormal risk cases and deliver comprehensive risk analysis reports.
• Perform in-depth analysis of risk data, monitor and issue early warnings on risk status through dashboards, reports, and other analytical tools.
• Lead the planning and optimization of risk control systems; collaborate closely with product and technology teams to continuously enhance and refine system functionalities.
• Monitor the execution of risk strategies and rules; conduct regular strategy reviews and perform in-depth analysis on newly introduced or adjusted approval policies.
• Drive the adjustment and optimization of automated approval strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze internal reports, and compile data, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Major in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related.
• Familiar with local credit reporting regulations and data from the three major credit bureaus (e.g., CIC, SLIK, etc.); solid understanding of personal lending and automotive finance operations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in risk strategy, credit risk management, underwriting, or related roles within the financial or automotive finance industry.
• Language Required: Advanced English. Mandarin is a plus.
