Job summary

Lumbung Support Studios, based in Bali, seeks a Revit Architect to join full-time and drive BIM-related design and documentation for diverse projects. The role emphasizes detailed drawings, BIM model coordination with consultants, and ensuring design integrity through construction.

You will collaborate with senior architects to realize conceptual designs into technical solutions on live projects. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience, strong Revit skills, and proficient English

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and documentation using Revit, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
• Create and maintain BIM models that coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
• Prepare construction documentation packages that are clear, complete, and buildable.
• Collaborate with senior architects to translate concepts into detailed technical solutions.
• Review drawings for accuracy and consistency across project documentation.
• Coordinate consultants and manage technical interfaces between building systems.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate design decisions.
• Attend site visits and provide input during construction phases.
• Stay updated on Balinese building codes and sustainable design practices.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Revit Architect to join our studio on a full-time basis in Bali. This is a key position within our architectural team, where you will play an integral role in developing detailed design documentation, coordinating with consultants, and bringing our architectural visions to life through advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical drawings, managing project documentation, and ensuring design integrity throughout the construction process. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful projects whilst contributing to the creative direction of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and documentation using Revit, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules
• Create and maintain comprehensive BIM models that coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other discipline consultants
• Prepare construction documentation packages that are clear, complete, and constructable
• Collaborate with senior architects and design teams to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical solutions
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance of drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency across all project documentation
• Support the coordination of consultants and manage technical interfaces between different building systems
• Contribute to project meetings and client presentations, communicating design decisions and technical information effectively
• Participate in site visits and provide architectural input during construction phases
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, regulations, and best practices relevant to Balinese construction standards

What we're looking for

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including 3D modelling, documentation, and BIM coordination
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience as an architect, with demonstrated expertise in using BIM software on live projects
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawing standards, construction documentation practices, and building codes
• Excellent spatial reasoning and the ability to communicate complex design concepts through drawings and models
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary consultants and managing consultant coordination
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification
• Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and a commitment to design quality
• Professional registration or eligibility for registration as an architect in your country of origin (desirable)
• Experience working on projects in tropical or culturally sensitive contexts would be advantageous
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and environmental considerations in architecture
