Job summary

Kroll in Jakarta seeks a Restructuring Associate to join its dynamic team. This role involves screening and supporting engagements across the restructuring and insolvency lifecycle, including due diligence, cash flow forecasting, and regulatory coordination.

You will work with lenders, investors, and advisory teams in distressed situations while developing expertise in insolvency, restructuring, and litigation support. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency advisory, forensic accounting, audit, or financial advisory.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow concepts, and basic financial modelling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin or Japanese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engagements across restructuring and investment lifecycle from due diligence to insolvency or wind-down.
• Assist with cash management, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
• Conduct financial and operational due diligence for lenders and investors.
• Develop short/long-term cash flow projections and monitor actuals vs budget.
• Draft reports and assist with regulatory and creditor communications.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients and regulators.
