Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Batam is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Restaurants/Bars and Room Service, if applicable. You will supervise restaurant teams, assist with menu planning, uphold sanitation standards, and support servers and hosts during peak meal periods.

You will determine training needs, implement development plans, interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, and manage shifts to meet budgeted goals while maintaining Westin's service standards and brand

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4 years in the food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
Or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of F&B experience.

Responsibilities

Assists in managing daily restaurant shift operations.
Supervises restaurant team and assists when the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager is absent.
Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures; maintains sanitation.
Provides training and coaching to employees to meet performance goals.
Interacts with guests to obtain feedback and resolve issues, and strives to improve service.
Opens and closes restaurant shifts.
