Job summary

Mt Arthur Coal is seeking a qualified Paramedic to join the Health, Safety, Security, Training and Emergency team on a residential basis near Muswellbrook in the NSW Hunter Valley. You will contribute to medical emergency response readiness and patient care.

You will report to the Security and Emergency Management Supervisor, work a rotating 5/4 roster (days and nights), and collaborate with site health advisors and operations leaders to coordinate medical management and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Paramedical Science or Diploma in Paramedical Science.
• Paramedic registration with AHPRA.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Experience with emergency medical response and protocols.
• Self-starter able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational medical emergency response readiness.
• Manage clinical presentations, medical emergencies and injury management.
• Liaise with health advisors and leaders to coordinate medical management.
• Assist with site security access systems and front-of-house duties including drug and alcohol testing.
• Medical surveillance and follow-up.
