Job summary

Shopee Internasional Indonesia is seeking a Compliance and Risk Management professional to identify and mitigate reputational risks, maintain risk registers, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives. You will prepare communications for stakeholders and ensure projects stay on track while monitoring control effectiveness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (GPA 3.2+) with at least 3 years in risk management or corporate strategy, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration

The Compliance and Risk Management team ensures that Shopee complies with applicable regulations and is primed for success with the right checks and balances while safeguarding the interests of our stakeholders in an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem.The team manages potential risks to the company's operations and reputation through risk assessments, internal fraud control, employee training as well as the implementation of information technology policy and cyber security tools.

Job Description:

• Assess and identify business initiatives as well as prepare mitigation plans to manage reputational risks
• Prepare clear and effective communication materials and meeting notes to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the latest status and updates
• Maintain risk register, track initiative status, and liaise with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business direction
• Project management to ensure all relevant business stakeholders execute their deliverables on time in accordance with the project timeline
• Monitor the implementation of risk controls and regularly evaluate their effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement where necessary
• Contribute creative ideas supported by research and an understanding of target market conditions
• Focus areas include, but are not limited to, business, operations, content, product, partnership, and people risk

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any major from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in risk management and/or corporate strategy
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to think creatively
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
• Able to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• High proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
