Job summary

Ascenda International Consultancy, a Singapore-based education consultancy, is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to plan, create, and manage content across its social channels. This is a full-time, remote role with candidates based in Jakarta or the Jabodetabek area preferred.

You will develop content calendars, craft copy and visuals, engage audiences, monitor performance, and collaborate with teams to align with goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong written and spoken communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• At least 1 year of experience in social media management or content creation; internships and projects count.
• Skills in content planning, copywriting, graphic design, and basic video editing.
• Ability to tailor content to different platforms and audiences.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience using Canva and CapCut.

Responsibilities

• Manage Ascenda’s social media accounts across platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
• Plan and maintain monthly content calendars.
• Create engaging social media content, including graphics, captions, and short-form videos.
• Write copy and calls to action to encourage engagement and enquiries.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements to increase reach and enquiries.
• Respond to comments and messages on social channels.
• Stay updated on education industry trends and international study topics.
• Appear in videos as needed to support content creation and programme promotion.
