Job summary

Second Talent is seeking a Senior AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and build scalable software across backend and frontend, with backend emphasis.

You will own API design and backend systems using Node.js, Express, React, and TypeScript, and drive AI integrations and server-side infrastructure for AI-powered products.

This remote role is open to SEA candidates, offering ownership, high-impact projects, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in full-stack software engineering with backend focus.
• Proven hands-on with Node.js, Express, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with large-scale or complex codebases.
• Experience implementing AI integrations and server-side AI infrastructure.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement AI integrations and server-side AI infrastructure for AI-powered products.
• Work with large and complex codebases, improving architecture, scalability, and performance.
• Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks and environments to ensure quality.
• Collaborate across engineering and product teams to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Leverage Cursor, Claude, and other AI coding tools in daily development workflows.
