Job summary

Alva seeks a Professional Remote Manufacturing Systems Specialist to design, implement, and maintain MES and ERP integrations for global manufacturing operations. This fully remote role focuses on data flow, system reliability, and operational efficiency across distributed teams.

You will collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations to gather requirements, upgrade systems, and ensure compliance with security and quality standards while driving digital transformation in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years implementing or managing MES, ERP integration.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain MES and related manufacturing software.
• Facilitate integration between MES, ERP, and other plant floor systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and optimize workflows within manufacturing systems to enhance operational efficiency and throughput.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing system users and administrators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define system enhancements, and manage system upgrades.
• Ensure system compliance with data security, quality, and regulatory standards.
