Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily dispatch activities for the fleet, assigning tasks and routes to drivers.
• Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to monitor driver locations and shipment progress in real-time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support, instructions, and addressing operational queries.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce transit times.
• Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and drivers to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities, deliveries, and fleet status.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues, delays, or disruptions promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the fleet management team to ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are met and compliance is maintained.
• Prepare reports on dispatch performance, delivery times, and other key logistics metrics.
• Contribute to process improvements within the dispatch and fleet coordination functions.
