Job summary

Jogja Glove Indonesia is seeking a Remote Inventory Management Specialist to optimize stock across multiple warehouses and ensure data accuracy in WMS. The role emphasizes analytics, forecasting, and proactive problem-solving in a fully remote setup.

You will work with operations, procurement, and sales to align inventory strategies, generate detailed reports, and drive efficiency in warehousing operations while maintaining high data quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years in inventory management or warehousing.
• Strong WMS and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of forecasting and optimization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and remote-work capabilities.
• Effective communication across teams.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Experience in data analysis and inventory reporting.
• Familiarity with general logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses remotely.
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies including cycle counts.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock.
• Investigate discrepancies with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory records in the Warehouse Management System with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and sales to align strategies.
• Generate reports on inventory status, turnover, accuracy, and issues.
• Monitor compliance with inventory policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and tech enhancements.
• Provide remote support to on-site teams on best practices.
