Job summary

Staffinc is seeking a backend engineer to join our internal Engineering team in Indonesia. You will develop and maintain high-quality backend systems using Golang and/or Python, build RESTful APIs, and optimize performance across databases and caches.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and QA in a remote-first setup, write clean, documented code, conduct unit tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with Golang and/or Python in production.
• Familiarity with HRMS or payroll systems is a plus.
• Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
• Experience building secure, scalable APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Golang and/or Python.
