Job summary

Stockbit is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to own server-side logic and integration with front-end platforms in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure backend systems using Node.js (TypeScript) and Golang, while guiding a team of developers and mentoring peers.

You will set technical direction, review code, collaborate with product, QA, and UI teams, and drive performance improvements, reliability, and maintainability across services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend experience with leadership exposure.
• 4+ years Node.js (TypeScript mandatory) and Golang experience.
• Knowledge of production code standards and best practices.
• Experience with message queues and streaming platforms (SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Kafka).
• Strong microservices understanding and cloud deployment experience.
• Proficient with Git/GitLab and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, reviews, and technical direction to the backend team.
• Translate product requirements into scalable backend architectures.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and UI teams to deliver features.
