Job summary

Datacenter People is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our remote UK team. You will advise on all EHS matters, support policy implementation across live data centre projects, and conduct site inspections and risk assessments. Travel across the South and Midlands and occasional EU travel may be required.

You should hold NEBOSH or equivalent, IOSH membership, a CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence. Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and UK EHS legislation is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH/National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety or equivalent required.
• IOSH membership (TechIOSH or higher) preferred.
• CSCS Card and Full UK driving licence with travel across the South/Midlands.
• Environmental qualification (IEMA or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent advice on all EHS matters to site and project management teams.
• Support implementation of EHS policies and management systems.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
• Assist in risk assessments, RAMS, and safe systems of work.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators and report monthly/project updates.
• Lead or assist in accident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions and safety briefings.
• Promote safety culture and wellbeing across sites.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and waste plans.
