Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction EHS Manager to develop and oversee safety and environmental programs across construction activities.

You will lead risk assessments, audits, and training, ensure regulatory compliance in Indonesia, and drive incident investigations and corrective actions. Strong leadership and English proficiency are required, with AK3U, LOTO, Electrical Safety, and Confined Space certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or data center projects.
• Hands-on experience in high-risk activities: lifting operations, working at height, electrical works, hot work, confined space entry, and LOTO.
• AK3U certification or equivalent EHS certification recognized under Indonesian regulations.
• Lifting Safety certification/competency relevant to lifting operations.
• Electrical Safety certification/competency for electrical work and safety management.
• Confined Space Entry certification/competency with rescue requirements.
• IOSH, NEBOSH, CSP or other EHS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the EHS Management System in compliance with laws, regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local and international EHS regulations and ensure alignment with project policies and practices.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and maintain a project risk register with effective mitigation measures.
• Audit and Inspection Leadership: Plan and lead internal EHS audits, site inspections, and regulatory inspections; close corrective actions.
• Training and Communication: Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and training for employees and contractors.
• Incident Management: Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and authorities on EHS matters.
