Job summary

Visa Hunt seeks a detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer (Revit) for an Australian client’s Non Process Infrastructure team. The role focuses on translating concepts into precise structural models using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

You will develop 3D models for steel and concrete, perform clash detection, produce 2D drawings, and deliver compliant tender documents and reports. Remote, 38 hours/week, with a competitive AUD salary.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in drafting or engineering role.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Revit.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model federation.
• Strong technical writing for tender documents and reports.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent English written and spoken skills.
• Experience with WA mining standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Revit Modelling: Develop and maintain accurate 3D structural models for steel and concrete in Revit.
• Design Translation: Interpret hand drawings/markups into 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Clash Detection & Coordination: Import vendor files and federate models in Navisworks; perform clash detection.
• Quality Assurance: Self-checks and peer reviews to meet standards and AS.
• Produce and edit 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
• Produce layout drawings and site masterplans for NPI.
• Admin support: calculations and data organization in Excel.
• Draft and format reports using Word.
• Maintain records in document control system.
