Job summary

Talent Insider invites an experienced leader to manage policy implementation at a premier higher education institution in Jakarta. The role requires steering governance, aligning policy with strategic goals, and coordinating with the Foundation's leadership to ensure compliant operations.

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree or higher, with Doctorate preferred, and possess a strong academic rank such as Associate Professor or above. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Master’s degree; Doctorate preferred.
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or higher preferred.
• Experience managing a higher education institution and policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee policy input at the management level of the higher education institution.
• Implement policies from the Foundation Founder to the Higher Education Institution.
• Monitor and report progress of policy implementation to Foundation management.
• Review and monitor budget usage and accountability to Foundation management.
• Validate documents for the payment processes of operational needs.
• Review processes for the Foundation's annual audit.

Academic Functional Position: Associate Professor

Job description

• Possessing managerial skills in managing and providing input at the policy level in the management of Higher Education Institutions.
• Implementing policies from the Foundation's Founder to the Higher Education Institution.
• Monitoring, reviewing, and being responsible for the progress of policy implementation to the Founder and the Foundation's Management.
• Reviewing and periodically monitoring the use of the budget and being accountable to the Foundation's Management.
• Validating documents for the payment process of operational needs of the Higher Education Institution.
• Reviewing and monitoring the process and requirements for the Foundation's annual audit.
  

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in Higher Education Management (previously held a structural position such as Dean, Vice-Rector, or Rector)
• Holds at least a Master's degree (S2), with a preference for a Doctorate (S3)
• Holds an Academic Functional Position of at least Associate Professor (Lektor Kepala), with a preference for Full Professor
• Has strong integrity, leadership, and capable higher education management skills in organizing and leading teams for the development of the institution
• Understands government regulations on higher education and all its updates
• Proficient in active English, both spoken and written
