Together with YKAN, the Regional Manager (Region I) is responsible for delivering YKAN’s conservation programs within the assigned region, ensuring implementation targets, quality standards, and stakeholder engagement are achieved. The role supervises multidisciplinary teams and collaborates closely with technical, program management, policy, and conservation information functions to ensure effective coordination, compliance, learning, and high-quality program delivery across the region.

The role works closely with technical, policy, program management, and conservation information teams to support effective coordination, evidence-based decision-making, donor engagement, and continuous learning across regional conservation initiatives.
The Regional Manager (Region 1) reports to the Deputy Director of Conservation Implementation & Information and is based in Pontianak.
BA/BS degree and 5 years’ experience in conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
