The role ensures project quality, compliance, and readiness for validation and verification through technical assessments, methodology application, and preparation of required documentation

The Carbon Development & MRV Specialist leads the development and implementation of forest carbon projects by designing and strengthening MRV systems, carbon accounting frameworks, monitoring protocols, data management systems, and technical documentation in line with international carbon standards. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across carbon, forestry, GIS, biodiversity, social safeguards, legal, and finance, this role conducts technical assessments, supports methodology application and validation/verification processes, develops scalable monitoring and reporting systems, and ensures the successful delivery of high-quality carbon projects.
The Carbon Development & MRV Specialist reports to the Sustainable Production Forestry Manager and is based in Jakarta .
