Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an environmental technical resource, manager, or consultant.
• Experience with environmental permit evaluations, planning approvals, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Broad knowledge of global environmental regulations and programs.
• Experience leading change across multiple site environments and influencing non-direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee compliance with local and federal environmental regulations in Indonesia and Amazon standards.
• Develop regional programs by integrating with engineering, construction, and operations; foster an environmentally responsible culture.
• Lead interactions with Indonesian regulatory agencies, permit evaluation, and new process introductions.
• Ensure contractors and employees comply with Amazon standards.
• Develop environmental metrics to measure and forecast performance.
• Conduct environmental audits of Jakarta data centers for continuous improvement.
• Prioritize and manage multiple complex assignments concurrently.
• Support legal/public policy teams with governmental agencies as needed.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to identify and manage risks early.
