MatchaTalent is seeking a Data Center Technical Director to oversee engineering integrity and solution design for large-scale data center projects in Jakarta Selatan. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on data center design and infrastructure experience.
• Experience in both pre-sales and post-sales for large-scale data center projects (500+ racks).
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including power distribution, UPS, HVAC, cooling technologies, modular data centers, and mission-critical facilities.
• Excellent technical problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical solutions, engineering designs, delivery strategies, and BOQ for large-scale data center projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to review blueprints and validate designs.
• Act as the primary technical authority during pre-sales solution design and proposal development.
• Provide technical leadership during project implementation, managing risks and validating design changes.
• Ensure compliance with international data center standards, testing, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to localize and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Support suppliers and contractors with technical guidance throughout construction and commissioning.
• Drive continuous technical improvement for engineering excellence and reliability.
