Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Controls Engineer to join the Data Center Capacity Delivery APAC team in Indonesia. You will deploy data center control systems, manage vendors, and support upgrades for building automation and power monitoring to ensure reliability and efficiency across AWS data centers.

The role requires multi-year experience in data centers, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Occasional travel may be needed to regional or global sites as part of deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vendor management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deployment of data center controls, on time, with effective management of vendors to ensure minimal defects at the point of Power and Facilities Hand-Off (PFHO).
• Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
• Service and support provided to partner teams, diagnosing and resolving issues impacting events.
• Resolution of tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Delivery of initiatives to improve data center efficiency and operations procedures.
