Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Jakarta seeks a strategic recruiter to support talent attraction for Campus and Experienced Professional roles, managing end-to-end recruiting and building strong candidate pipelines.

You will partner with hiring managers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive interview processes, assessments, and offers, ensuring strong candidates are cultivated for the Jakarta office.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience across Campus and EP recruiting; professional services experience preferred.
• Strong end-to-end recruiting and direct sourcing experience; ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting for Campus and EP roles, partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand talent needs and build pipelines.
• Source, screen, assess, interview manage, and craft offers; cultivate candidates for Jakarta office and broader SEA priorities.
• Serve as trusted advisor to candidates and internal stakeholders using data and market insights to improve recruiting across Jakarta and SEA.

You will play a core role in supporting the office’s talent attraction priorities across both Campus and Experienced Professional (EP) recruiting.

You will manage end-to-end recruiting, partnering closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand talent needs, develop recruiting strategies, and build strong candidate pipelines. For EP recruiting, this includes sourcing, screening, assessment, interview management, offer development and candidate cultivation. For Campus recruiting, you will help develop and execute recruiting strategies across priority schools, including events, candidate engagement, screening and cultivation.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to candidates and internal stakeholders, using recruiting data and market insights to monitor pipeline health and continuously improve our recruiting approach. You will also contribute to broader Jakarta and Southeast Asia recruiting priorities and initiatives as needed.

Your work will help McKinsey attract distinctive talent and ensure a strong pipeline to meet the Jakarta office’s hiring needs.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• University degree or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally across both Campus and Experienced Professional recruiting; professional services experience preferred
• Strong end-to-end recruiting and direct sourcing experienceAbility to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple roles and priorities
