Job summary

PT United Waru Biscuit Manufactory in Cikande, Banten, is seeking an experienced Research & Development Supervisor to lead our biscuit-focused R&D. This full-time role drives product development, process improvements and quality assurance across manufacturing operations.

The candidate will supervise the R&D team, scale formulations from lab to production and ensure compliance with food safety standards while collaborating with production, sales and marketing to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in food manufacturing R&D with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in biscuit or bakery product development and scaling from pilot to production.
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000 and Indonesian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the R&D team, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Develop and implement biscuit formulations and variants, scaling from lab to production.
• Perform quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods for food safety compliance.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Manage documentation of R&D activities, including experimental records and regulatory compliance.
