Job summary

Bekerdja.id in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Research & Development Manager (Foodtech) to lead the creation of innovative fitness and health supplement products in BSD, Tangerang. You will drive market-driven formulation and oversee laboratory and pilot-scale trials.

The role requires leadership, experimental rigour, and strong collaboration with QC, Production, Regulatory, and Marketing to move concepts from idea to launch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in R&D, preferably in supplements or functional foods.
• Proven product development from concept to launch.
• Excellent documentation and technical writing.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D of new fitness and health supplement products.
• Develop and optimize formulations across formats (powder, capsules, RTD).
• Oversee lab and pilot-scale trials ensuring quality and stability.
• Collaborate with QC, Production, Regulatory, and Marketing.
• Maintain R&D documentation and regulatory records.
• Mentor and manage the R&D team to drive innovation.
• Monitor industry trends to identify new product opportunities.
