Job summary

IBMC is assisting in hiring an R&D Lead / Software Architect for a pioneering hardware manufacturer establishing operations in Batam, Indonesia. This strategic role involves designing scalable software systems and leading research initiatives while coordinating with a global technology team.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in software architecture. Exceptional English communication skills and readiness for an on-site transition are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record in firmware, embedded systems, or enterprise server software architecture.
• Must have expertise in developing proprietary software mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of software architectures for datacenter-grade hardware.
• Oversee the R&D phase of new software products from concept to prototype.
• Coordinate local R&D with the overseas corporate technology team.
