Job summary

BMC is expanding its manufacturing operations in Batam, Indonesia, and seeks an Assembly Technician to manually assemble datacenter components and GPU servers on-site. The role requires strict ESD compliance, high precision, and the ability to follow detailed workflows.

Training will be provided by the Dubai team, with the candidate joining a pioneering facility for a major regional hardware manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Vocational High School Graduate (SMK) majoring in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong ability to read, comprehend, and execute highly technical step-by-step work instructions.
• Familiarity with structural ESD handling tools and safe electronics assembly environments.

Responsibilities

• Hardware assembly of datacenter components and GPU servers following detailed work instructions.
• Strict adherence to ESD protocols to safeguard sensitive components.
• Perform basic visual quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with production floor supervisors and fellow line technicians on the assembly line.
• Participate in initial production training provided by the Dubai technical team.
