Job summary

PT. Polycolor Prima Perkasa in Indonesia is seeking a chemist leader to head the color and functional masterbatch formulation team. You will guide development, optimize pigments and additives, and collaborate with production to scale formulations.

A Bachelor's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, at least two years in masterbatch or related plastics manufacturing, and fluent English are required. You will work in a fast-growing manufacturing environment with opportunities for innovation and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in masterbatch, polymer compounding, plastics or chemical manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of pigments (organic/inorganic), dispersants, and additives (UV stabilizers, antioxidants, flame retardants, antistatic agents, etc.)
Experience operating laboratory equipment including spectrophotometer, moisture meter, laboratory extruder, mixer and oven.
Experience in formulation development and product innovation.
Familiar with customer color matching process.
Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative and innovative mindset.
Good leadership and teamwork abilities.
Not color blind.
Fluent in English.
